With a Master’s degree in Creative Industries from SAE and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, majoring in Media Arts and Production, I have gained comprehensive expertise in film and content creation across all stages of production, from pre-production to post-production. My academic journey was complemented by a 5-month placement at Studio 10, where I gained firsthand experience in the mechanics of live broadcast production. In addition, I have extensive hands-on experience in a university television studio, where I took on multiple roles including director, camera operator, floor manager, teleprompter operator, vision switcher, lighting technician, set designer, and sound recordist. I worked with both studio setups and field recording, utilising equipment such as shotgun microphones and clip-on mics. My experiences have also allowed me to demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork capabilities within various production teams.

Grant Markert is a multi award wining director & cinematographer. His experience spans international documentaries for the discovery channel to high end TV commercials.

Caro's been in the business of creating content since well before content creation was even a phrase. Starting out in television in 2000, she worked in various production roles before setting up Juicy back in 2004. These days her love of story-telling can be found in directing, producing, editing (yes, a preditor!) travel writing and podcasting. While she has a particular affinity for travel and adventure production, over the years she’s helped produce numerous TVCs, videos and branded content for a range of clients including NPWS, Qantas, P&O Cruises, Disney Imagineering, Commonwealth Bank and the RTA. When she’s not creating work for others, she spends her time on her own adventures and volunteering for the SES coordinating search and rescue operations in the Blue Mountains or teaching traditional navigation skills. In 2021 she wrote and published the book, 'How to Navigate - the art of traditional map and compass navigation in an Australian context,' which is the navigation text book for NSW Police Rescue and the SES. With a background in television production and writing, Julie Miller is your go-to local for helping to bring your production to fruition. Recently employed by Blue Mountains City Council as a consultant for the screen sector, she has an intimate knowledge of Blue Mountains locations, creatives and infrastructure as well as knowledge about how things work on set. She is also an award-winning travel writer, four-times-published non fiction author, and an optioned screenwriter.
