Camplify Owners Series

project description

My job was to produce this series of 3-5 minute profile/testimonial videos from Camplify's van owner community from across the world aimed at promoting the platform to new users. I produced six in total and had a hand in shooting, directing and editing as well. My main responsibilities were to run the shoot from concept through til final cut by vetting case-studies, conducting pre-interviews, scouting/booking locations, finding and briefing production teams and just generally making sure everything went according to plans A through Z on the day. The entire production was designed by me to be easily replicable and I structured the content to be as versatile as possible so as to get the most value out of each shoot. Each longer video was capable of being easily cut into 3-4 short form paid social ads covering specific bites of each owners' journey on the platform based off of their larger story arc.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
