With a strong sense of place and an even stronger sense of community, Warrimoo is home to a range of MTNS MADE creatives who bring people together through art, performance and education.

This welcoming lower mountains village supports a blend of visual artists, musicians, writers, educators, and performers. Many work across sectors — bringing creativity into schools, festivals, community halls and public programs.

Warrimoo’s creative culture is inclusive and collaborative. It’s a place where process matters as much as product, and where work often takes the form of workshops, events and collective outcomes. You’ll also find practitioners engaged in publishing, textiles, and storytelling, often with a focus on accessibility, identity and local history.

This blend of community engagement and creative rigour makes Warrimoo an ideal place for collaborations with heart. Whether you're looking to run a project, build a program or commission work that connects, you’ll find skilled, thoughtful partners here.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
