Warren Beaumont is a Playwright and Screenwriter with four Plays performed around Australia. His latest Play is Global Town, a Two-Act Play set in rural Western Victoria, while the Vets Holiday Play is being developed. Warren lived in Brisbane from 1973-79 and was a Crew Member of the Brisbane Filmmakers Coop in 1975-77. He is a qualified Screenwriter and at the Australian Film & TV School in Sydney, studied Screenwriting in the 1980s, Writing For Children Screenwriting in 2017, and Intro to Producing in 2024. He is a full member of the Australian Writers Guild. Film and TV Adult Drama Screenplays are: Rangelands, a Farming Drama set in Western NSW; Zedowski's River, a Mining/Environmental Drama set in Tasmania; and Boy On A Red Bicycle, a Family Drama set in Greater Sydney. A TV Series for High School Teenagers, Endangered Species Rescue Team, is set close to the Blue Mountains. It has a Pilot Episode written and more Episodes drafted and has great potential as a Blue Mountains production.
